MEMBERS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR HEALTH COVERAGE

Members who were enrolled in Aetna or Kaiser Permanente but do not qualify for coverage in March have been mailed a notice with the option to enroll in COBRA coverage.

If you are enrolled in COBRA and still need to pay your family coverage payment or COBRA premiums, please make the payment online at the Make a Payment page.  The payment site lists the current premium contribution amounts. Please remember the payment deadline is the end of each month for family coverage and the 30th  of each month for COBRA coverage. Failure to make a timely payment will result in termination of your Aetna or Kaiser coverage retroactive to the first of the month. If you need assistance in making this payment, please contact us at Health@SDCweb.org.

Federal COBRA Subsidy

You may have heard that the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA), which was signed in March 2021, includes a COBRA subsidy beginning April 2021.  The Funds Office will provide information, including how you can receive the subsidy, once further guidance is issued by the government.

If you lost health coverage under the SDC-League Health Fund in the periods beginning March 1, 2020, September 1, 2020, or March 1, 2021, or are currently enrolled in COBRA with the Health Fund, please click here
