With the passing of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act on March 18, 2020, group health plans are now required to waive all member cost sharing for coronavirus/COVID-19 diagnostic testing, including health care provider office, telehealth, urgent care, and emergency room visits that result in an order for testing.
On March 25, 2020, CVS Health (Aetna’s parent company) announced it will waive cost-sharing and co-pays for inpatient hospital admissions related to COVID-19 at in-network facilities for Aetna participants.
Members enrolled in Option A should be receiving information on coronavirus/COVID-19 directly from Aetna or Kaiser Permanente. However, you can also access information on their COVID-19 response here.
